Custom Patches FAQs

We offer three main types of patches for bulk orders:

• Sublimated Patches: Best for detailed or gradient artwork. The design is printed directly into the fabric for smooth, full-color results.
• Woven Patches: Ideal for fine details and clean text. Threads are woven tightly, giving a soft and professional finish.
• Embroidered Patches: Perfect for classic, textured designs. Threads are stitched on a fabric base for a raised, premium look.
  

• Choose Sublimated for photo-like, gradient, or multi-color artwork.
• Choose Woven for small text, crisp lines, or subtle detail.
• Choose Embroidered for bold, textured designs with fewer colors.

We offer several border styles, including:

• Merrowed Edge (Overlocked): A classic raised border, ideal for round or square patches.
• Laser-Cut / Heat-Cut Edge: A clean edge finish for custom or complex shapes.
• Stitched Edge: Used for thin or irregular shapes where merrowed borders aren’t possible.
  

• Merrowed edges suit regular shapes (circle, rectangle, square).
• Laser-cut edges are perfect for unique or intricate outlines.
• Stitched edges work best for slim or custom-shaped patches.
  

Our design team will suggest the most suitable edge type during mockup approval.

We offer multiple backing choices depending on application:

• Sew-On Backing: Traditional and durable; ideal for uniforms and BJJ gis.
• Iron-On Backing: Heat-activated adhesive for quick application.
• Velcro / Hook & Loop: Removable and reusable; perfect for gear and tactical patches.
• Peel-and-Stick Adhesive: Temporary option for short-term use or events.
  

Yes, you can order a combination of backings (e.g., some sew-on, some Velcro) in the same bulk batch. Please specify your requirements when submitting your inquiry on Custom Patches page.

Yes, we can make patches in any shape — round, square, shield, hexagon, or custom outlines. Simply send us your logo or design, and we’ll create the die-cut accordingly.

We can produce patches up to 12 inches in width. For larger or complex designs, our team may suggest splitting it into multiple smaller patches for best results.

Our standard MOQ is 50 pieces per design, but we can sometimes accommodate smaller quantities depending on patch type and size.

Production usually takes 2–3 weeks, depending on the patch type, quantity, and customization details. We’ll share digital mockups for approval before production.
